We regard the six symmetry operations, which can be executed _at the NH ₃ molecule, as items of a quantity. As linkage ("product ") two or several symmetry operations we understand their steosize made (you inform in addition possibly again in step 97 ). We want to set up the multiplication board for this quantity now. In addition all possible products of the six symmetry operations must be formed, thus 6 ? 6 = 36 pieces.

and to it the symmetry operations apply. We look thus the products up by preparation of sketches of the type:

Absolutely consider the order of the product formation: the right is only applied, then the left factor!
Form in this way the products C ₃ ² s _v ⁽¹⁾ and s _v ⁽²⁾ s _v ⁽³⁾ !
